Midfielder Davide Frattesi has pulled out of the Inter Milan squad for tomorrow’s Serie A match against Lazio.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews.

Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi is recovering from an abdominal injury.

The Italian international suffered the injury during the Nerazzurri’s Champions League semifinal second leg win over Barcelona.

Frattesi came off the bench in that match. And he was even able to score the winning goal, in extra time.

However, after picking up his injury, Frattesi missed last weekend’s Serie A win over Torino.

Davide Frattesi had returned to training over the last couple days.

Therefore, the hope had been that the 25-year-old former Sassuolo midfielder has recovered sufficiently that he could be available for tomorrow’s match against Lazio.

However, reports Sky, that is not the case.

Frattesi is still suffering from some lingering effects of his abdominal problem.

Therefore, reports Sky, Frattesi will not be in Inter’s squad for tomorrow’s match.

Meanwhile, the broadcaster also report that Mehdi Taremi will be in the starting eleven for Inter tomorrow. He will lead the line for the Nerazzurri alongside Marcus Thuram with Lautaro Martinez still absent.
