Italy hosts Turkey at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara today for a crucial fixture of the UEFA Nations League.
The Azzurri are currently in third place with four points and are coming off a 4-1 victory over Turkey and a 1-1 draw against France, thanks to an equalizer from Alessandro Bastoni.
On the other hand, Vincenzo Montella’s Turkish side sits at the bottom of the group with zero points having lost three consecutive matches with their most recent defeat coming against Belgium.
In their head-to-head record, The Azzurri are unbeaten in their last four encounters against Turkey and are heavy favorites to secure all three points.
Roberto Mancini will be missing Moise Kean, who left the national team camp after a minor knock, while Giacomo Raspadori also remains sidelined with an injury.
Mancini is also expected to welcome Nicolo Barella and Gianluca Mancini back into the starting lineup after resting them against France.
Meanwhile, Turkey’s squad is severely depleted as they are already missing Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Kenan Yıldız, while Arda Guler and Barış Alper Yılmaz are both suspended due to yellow card accumulation.
