Italy will rival Norway, Israel, Moldova and Estonia in Group I of the World Cup qualifiers: take a look at the complete Azzurri fixture list and the updated table.
Italy will start their World Cup qualification path on June 6 with arguably the most challenging match in Group I as they’ll visit Erling Haaland’s Norway in Oslo.
During the same international break in June, the Azzurri will also host Moldova in Reggio Emilia.
Norway have already won the opening two matches in Group I, beating Moldova and Israel away.
This means the Azzurri will need a result away in Oslo later this year as only the group winners qualify for the 2026 World Cup, while runners-up begin the playoff process in March 2026.
The Azzurri have already faced playoff exits in the last two editions of the World Cup qualifiers and have last played the competition in 2014.
