Manchester United are reportedly interested in a summer move for West Ham United captain Jarrod Bowen.

This comes as the club continue planning further attacking reinforcements ahead of next season.

According to The Guardian, United are set to battle Premier League rivals for the England international, with Liverpool and Chelsea also monitoring the situation closely.

West Ham could reportedly face major financial pressure if relegation from the Premier League is confirmed.

This could potentially force them into significant player sales during the summer window.

Bowen continues to impress

Jarrod Bowen has enjoyed another productive Premier League campaign for West Ham.

The 29-year-old has registered eight goals and 10 assists in 37 league appearances this season while also creating 43 chances and 14 big chances.

He has additionally completed 52 successful dribbles and won 180 duels in the Premier League this term.

United are believed to admire Bowen’s versatility.

Although naturally deployed from the right wing, the England international is also capable of operating through the middle or from the left-hand side.

United’s attack could see more changes

Manchester United are already expected to sign another attacker this summer as Michael Carrick continues reshaping the squad.

Last summer, United signed Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.

Both attackers have regularly featured in wide positions throughout the campaign.

However, Alejandro Garnacho departed the club earlier this year while Marcus Rashford’s long-term future remains uncertain following his loan spell at Barcelona.

A permanent return currently looks unlikely.

That has left United relatively short in natural wing depth despite recent additions.

Bowen’s Premier League experience and consistency could therefore make him an attractive option heading into next season.

The winger has continued producing strong attacking numbers despite West Ham’s difficult campaign.

He remains one of the most reliable wide forwards in English football.

His current contract runs until 2030.

That would mean any potential deal would likely require a significant transfer fee if United decide to advance their interest further.
