The report states that the Brazilian midfielder has agreed a contract until 2031 worth around €4.5 million per year.

Diego Simeone’s side are now reportedly pushing forward in negotiations after reaching an agreement with the player side for Gomes.

A club-to-club agreement with Wolverhampton Wanderers is still yet to be completed.

His name has also repeatedly appeared on shortlists connected to replacing Casemiro this summer.
