Canada international Jonathan David is set to join Juventus on a free transfer.
Multiple reports in Italy claim that Juventus have reached an agreement with David’s entourage, which means the 25-year-old will move to Turin as a free agent.
David is formally without a club after his contract with Lille expired on June 30, 2025.
Football Italia reported last week that the Bianconeri had shaken hands over the player’s salary, but were still in talks with his entourage regarding agent fees.
Now Fabrizio Romano, Sky Sport Italia, and Romeo Agresti claim that the three parties involved have all reached an agreement, so David will join Juventus on a free transfer.
According to Sky Sport, Juventus remain interested in Victor Osimhen as well and want to retain Randal Kolo Muani, but they want Dusan Vlahovic out as the Serbia international’s contract runs out next year and he’s unwilling to extend it.
Juventus were eliminated from the Club World Cup on Tuesday night, losing 1-0 to Real Madrid.
