Joshua Zirkzee could be one of many players who departs Manchester United this summer as the club aims to improve the quality of their squad.
The forward, who made the move to Old Trafford in 2024, has made 69 appearances at the club whilst scoring nine goals in this time.
Zirkzee has also featured across a range of competitions for the Red Devils including the Premier League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup.
These appearances have helped to improve the range of experience that the forward has in professional football, having previously played in Italian cup competitions and Serie A.
But, this season, the 24-year-old has been limited to 20 appearances with other forwards such as Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo being chosen over him.
CentreDevils had exclusively revealed that Joshua Zirkzee was pushing for a move in a meeting with Manchester United.
With this in mind, AS Roma emerged as an interested club with a bid made but a completed agreement was never come to.
Now, Fabrizio Romano, speaking on YouTube, has revealed that Joshua Zirkzee has a desire for change this summer with him welcoming a transfer away from Old Trafford.
The journalist has also stated that there are some Premier League clubs that have already called to see if there is a chance of signing the forward in the upcoming transfer window.
It appears, with this latest news revealed, that the former Parma striker will be leaving Manchester United this summer should a suitable offer emerge.
With interest from both the Premier League and continued interest from Italian outfits according to Romano, an offer could come from a large range of clubs.
In the meantime, Zirkzee could play an essential part of Manchester United’s operations as the first-team approaches the end of the season.
