Journalist claims Spurs are ‘continuing discussions’ for top transfer target ahead of a potential deal

Tottenham Hotspur continue to be active in the January transfer market, having already signed Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin this month.

They are now being strongly linked with a move for Club Brugge wonder kid Antonio Nusa.

According to journalist Daily Mail journalist Simon Jones, Spurs are ‘continuing discussions’ with the Belgian club this week regarding a potential deal for the young talent who seems to have become their next top transfer target.

The North London outfit is not the only club expressing interest, as Nusa’s talent has caught the attention of suitors across Europe. Tottenham are aware of the competition and are getting a deal done quickly to secure his services.

However, it has been reported that the 18-year-old is not inclined to leave the club this month, and discussions may lead to a deal being finalised for the summer, with Nusa potentially remaining on loan for the rest of the season.

The 18-year-old signed a contract extension with Brugge last year, keeping him at the club until June 2027.

The Norwegian scored two goals and provided two assists in his six starts out of 14 appearances in the Belgian Pro League.

It was recently revealed that Spurs had an opportunity to sign the young forward when he was with Stabaek in Norway, but the chance was eventually missed.

This time, they are optimistic about securing Antonio Nusa, seizing the opportunity that currently presents itself.
