Journalist: 'Spoken about once again' – Historical Chelsea target back on agenda

Chelsea are reportedly taking a look at one of their historical transfer targets ahead of a possible move this month.

The transfer window has now been bubbling away for the last 9 days, and so far Chelsea have not been too lively in terms of any incomings.

They seem to be sorting a few loan moves and outgoings, but the belief has always been that they might be looking to bring one or two new signings in themselves this month should the opportunity present itself.

The club have been linked with many different strikers, but most of them appear to be unattainable this month.

One name they have often been linked with is Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, and he is back on their radar once more.

That is according to journalist Simon Phillips today. He had a few sourced updates on his Substack site today, one of which on Vlahovic.

Phillips wrote: “Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic has been spoken about once again in recent transfer conversations at the club. This has come from my top source, who simply told me yesterday that ‘Vlahovic has been mentioned to me again today’.

“What this usually means is quite simply that the player in question has been discussed internally at Chelsea as a potential option, no more, no less.”
