Jude Bellingham is easily the best midfielder in the world right now. Even if fans think that there is a debate to have about that claim, there is not a single one about the fact that he is the most complete player in football at the moment. He can do absolutely everything on the pitch, and he is able to mould his game to the team's needs for that particular match. He does it absolutely perfectly.
That does not mean Bellingham does not have bad games. Obviously, he does, but the amount of bad games that he has is astonishingly low, and it just shows that the player is destined for greatness. Real Madrid would be in a very bad place if it wasn't for Jude Bellingham and his insistent ability to make everything happen.
Everyone considers him a goalscorer, and rival fans love to joke about him being a striker rather than a midfielder. For those people, it is really important to know that even without the goals, Bellingham was able to destroy Barcelona all on his own. The fact that he had more duels won than Barcelona's entire midfield combined was frankly insane.
It is also important to note that despite not scoring a single goal, Bellingham was crucial in Real Madrid's fight to win last Sunday. He was one of the team's best players and was able to dominate the midfield battle and play some brilliant passes, have some really strong and important tackles, as well as being able to dribble like Zinedine Zidane in some moments was brilliant to watch, and it was a bit of proof to these Barcelona fans that Bellingham is not just about the goals.
Even if you remove the goal-scoring, he is still one of the best players in the entire world, and the ones who actually watch football rather than just read about it on Twitter would know exactly that. Almost every time he has played Barcelona, he has dominated against them. It does not matter if he's scored or not.
There have been so many games like the one in the Copa del Rey final that Real Madrid lost, in which Bellingham did not register a goal but was easily the best player on the pitch. Obviously, in the game on Sunday, that was the case as well. Bellingham's one of his best abilities is to score, but there are so many of those abilities that just go unnoticed because of being overshadowed by those goals. It is time that people realise what an absolute gem this guy is.
