Jurrien Timber explains what winning mentality is

Winning is a major part of Arsenal’s identity, and the club expects every player to approach matches with the determination to succeed. The Gunners want a squad filled with individuals who understand the importance of a winning mentality and can maintain high standards whenever they take to the pitch.

Arsenal have enjoyed success in recent seasons, competing for major honours and demonstrating their ambition to establish themselves among Europe’s leading clubs. Their recruitment has reflected a desire to bring in players with the right attitude, alongside the quality needed to deliver results.

Arsenal value a winning mentality

The Gunners believe signing players with a competitive mindset is essential to building a team capable of winning trophies consistently. Talent alone is not enough, as players must also possess the determination to improve, compete and deliver when the pressure is highest.

Jurrien Timber is one of the key players in the squad who understands those expectations. The defender recently spoke to Arsenal Media about what a winning mentality means to him, explaining that competitiveness extends beyond football and influences how someone approaches any challenge.
