The latest Serie A Round favoured Juventus and Atalanta, who earned a slight advantage over competitors Bologna, Lazio, Roma and Fiorentina in the race for a Champions League spot.

Both Juventus and Atalanta secured crucial wins in Serie A Round 32.

The Bianconeri beat Lecce 2-1 in Turin on Saturday, while Atalanta defeated Bologna 2-0 at home on Sunday.

Atalanta’s win allowed Gian Piero Gasperini’s men to remain third, while Juventus leapfrogged Bologna in fourth. The Bianconeri now enjoy a two-point lead over the Rossoblu.

Lazio and Roma shared the spoils in the Rome derby on Sunday night, losing ground in the race for the top four. Nevertheless, Biancocelesti remain three points below Juventus, while their city rivals are five points away from a Champions League placement.

Fiorentina were held to a 0-0 home draw by strugglers Parma on Sunday, dropping six points behind Juve.

Serie A Round 32 ends on Monday with Napoli hosting Empoli at the Stadio Maradona.

The Partenopei have practically booked a Champions League spot, but must win to return three points behind table leaders Inter.
