Juventus coach Max Allegri admits his players are floored after their Europa League semifinal defeat at Sevilla.

Suso and Erik Lamela struck for Sevilla as they won 2-1 with Dusan Vlahovic scoring for Juve. Sevilla reach the final 3-2 on aggregate.

Sevilla will meet Roma in the final.

Allegri said: "Sorry, there is disappointment and we are a little angry but the boys have given everything. The details made the difference and we paid for it: we could have made it 2-0 and 2-1, we suffered 1-1 and 2-1.

"There is regret but it is a fundamental step in the growth process of the team, even if it would have been better if it had happened in the final. The substitutions? They entered with character and helped us.

"I believe that in football it is difficult to do things right in the short term. It was an anomalous season and now we will try to finish second in the league and improve the standings compared to last season. We tried to win, but we didn't succeed."
