Luciano Spalletti will soon be announced as the new head coach of Juventus following the sacking of Igor Tudor at the beginning of the week, and reports suggest that the former CT will bring a trusted and experienced backroom staff along with him to Continassa.

Spalletti is due to be appointed as the new head coach of Juventus on an initial short-term contract until the end of the 2025-26 season with an option or potentially an obligation to extend depending on Champions League qualification.

Who will join Spalletti at Juventus?

According to Thursday’s reports, Marco Domenichini will join Spalletti as his assistant at Juventus.

Domenichini has been a long-term colleague, and has followed Spalletti throughout his career, spanning well over two decades, beginning with Udinese in 2002, then Roma, Zenit St. Petersburg, Roma again, Inter, Napoli and with the Italy national team.

Salvatore Russo, who also worked with Spalletti at Napoli and with the Italy national team, will also join the set-up as a first-team coach according to reports from TMW

Thursday’s report indicated that Giovanni Martusciello will also be a first-team coach at Juventus. He worked with Spalletti at Inter between 2017 and 2019, and has also worked at Juventus previously under Maurizio Sarri.

Martusciello went on to serve as an assistant head coach under Sarri at Lazio for three years and also had 15 matches as head coach of Salernitana at the beginning of the 2024-25 season.

Francesco Sinatti, who also has Napoli and the Italy national team on his CV, is set to join the Juventus staff as a fitness coach.
