Juventus might make some offensive moves behind Dusan Vlahovic and are once again thinking about bringing back Alvaro Morata. The Spaniard was close to leaving Atletico Madrid last summer. He’s having one of his most productive seasons to date.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Bianconeri are contemplating selling Moise Kean and Arkadiusz Milik. The former was headed to the Colchoneros on loan in January, but a lower leg injury hindered the move. His contract is up in 2025. The Pole is tied to the team for longer, but the brass will evaluate the offers for him since he hasn’t had a great campaign. He just hired a new agent.

Morata is particularly enticing for Juventus because, in addition to his familiarity with the league and attachment to the club, he’s versatile. The Old Lady will most likely resume using offensive wingers next year. In addition to backing up Vlahovic, he’d be able to play next to him in a few different schemes.

Moreover, the hierarchy believes the squad lacks experience. Such an addition would address the issue. The center-forward has already had two turns in Turin on loan from Real Madrid and is a Bianconeri fan. He extended his contract till 2026, and his price tag is €15/20M. He makes roughly €5M annually.

Our Take on Juventus and Morata

The cyclical rumors about his return will likely end only after he retires. He’s better than Milik and Kean, but they probably won’t spend that much for a secondary role.
