Juventus have been linked with Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap, but the English forward has already spoken to Chelsea and Manchester United and has prioritised a Premier League stay.

Italian media, mostly Tuttosport, have reported multiple times over the last few weeks that Juventus are following Ipswich Town striker Delap, especially as he’s available for circa €35m after his club’s relegation from the Premier League.

Fabrizio Romano’s latest update for Caughtoffside, however, informs that the striker has already held talks with English clubs and that Delap has prioritised staying in England.

What Fabrizio Romani said about Liam Delap, Chelsea and Man United

“There is genuine interest from two very important clubs – Chelsea and Manchester United,” wrote Romano.

“My understanding is that Delap has spoken to Chelsea and to Manchester United, and now it’s time for him to explore all the options possible.”

Romano adds that some Bundesliga clubs are also preparing to enter negotiations, but doesn’t mention Juventus among the clubs interested.

Surely, the Bianconeri will need at least one new centre forward in 2025-26. Dusan Vlahovic is set to be sold one year before the end of his contract in 2026, while Randal Kolo Muani is on loan from PSG only until the end of the season.
