Juventus midfielder Miretti: All academy kids look up to Marchisio

Juventus midfielder Fabio Miretti admits he draws inspiration from Bianconeri hero Claudio Marchisio.

Miretti has been a bright point for Juve this past year.

He told TuttoJuve: "The Juventus DNA, as the motto says, is 'until the end'. There are a thousand phrases from all the most famous players who grew up here, you grow up seeing these phrases. Since you were a kid, every time you take the field you feel these responsibilities.

"It's an emotion because when you enter here you don't expect to get to the end. Throughout your journey you will always meet someone who will tell you that only one out of many will make it. When you are the one one out of many who makes it you look back. It's a source of pride.

"The model for all of us kids growing up was him (Marchisio). He was one of those who had spent his entire career at Juventus. The whole Juventus world took him as a point of reference. For me, as a midfielder, he was was even more of a model to follow."
