Andrea Cambiaso has caught the attention of a few top clubs thanks to a standout first season at Juventus, but his team wants to keep him. They are working on a contract renewal even though he already has a long-term deal. It runs until 2027, Alfredo Pedullà informed.

The fullback is in line for a pay rise since he’s making €1M plus add-ons. His wages could easily double once he re-ups. An unnamed Premier League side would be ready to offer €40M if the Bianconeri made him available.

That shouldn’t be the case, though. The fullback cut his teeth in Serie A at Bologna under Thiago Motta, who was highly instrumental to his growth and considers him a building block for the future. According to Tuttomercatoweb’s Mirko Di Natale, Arsenal and Manchester United are eyeing Cambiaso, while Real Madrid did it in the past, but Juventus aren’t contemplating his departure.

His agent Giovanni Bia was on the stands between the recent playoff match between the Next Gen squad and Carrarese. The 24-year-old has recorded 3 goals and 6 assists in 39 matches this campaign. He’ll miss the season finale due to yellow-card accumulation. The Old Lady paid €13.3M to acquire him permanently from Genoa a couple of years ago.

Our Take on Juventus and Cambiaso

At some point, they’ll sell some starters to turn a profit and have more firepower, but they should be able to do that by simply optimizing their squad and cutting out the deadwood this summer.
