Juventus managed to add some pieces after lengthy searches, bringing in Jeremie Boga and Emil Holm from Nice and Bologna, respectively. Instead, Joao Mario is going to the Felsinei, and Daniele Rugani is headed to Fiorentina, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs.

The Bianconeri concluded the talks with Les Aiglons in a hurry and announced the winger on Sunday. He comes in on a season-long loan with €4M option to buy. He had stopped playing because of a violent incident with some fans in early December, asking to be let go. The 29-year-old recorded 11 goals and 9 assists in 73 appearances with his previous team. It’ll be his third Serie A stop, as he broke out with Sassuolo, while he wasn’t as convincing during an 18-month spell at Atalanta.

Like Boga, Holm also spent some time with La Dea, failing to leave his mark, and joins Juventus with the same formula. He first emerged at Spezia and had some success at Bologna, scoring twice and dishing out 6 helpers in 48 tilts, but he has been outplayed by Nadir Zortea as of late. Instead, Joao Mario failed to win over two coaches.

As for the attack, the Bianconeri are still trying for Randal Kolo Muani and Jean-Philippe Mateta, who’s close to Milan, and probed Mauro Icardi, Norberto Beto and Alexander Sorloth.

Our Take on Juventus, Boga, and Holm

They didn’t have much to spend but found two proven contributors that won’t need time to adjust and address two glaring needs. The Swede was a touted prospect a couple of years ago, but didn’t live up to the hype and is a little injury-prone. He’s particularly apt to play as a wing-back. His arrival will unburden Weston McKennie.
