Juventus have officially completed the sale of full-back Tiago Djaló to Besiktas for €3.5m plus up to €1m in add-ons, after just one appearance for the club.
The Portugal international never managed to make his mark in Turin after the €5.10m plus bonuses move from Lille in January 2024.
The 25-year-old made only one appearance in the Juventus jersey, which lasted precisely 16 minutes, in the 2-0 Serie A victory over Monza in May 2024.
He was loaned out to FC Porto six months later and returned to base this summer, knowing he was not part of coach Igor Tudor’s plans.
Juventus are floated on the stock exchange and therefore have to give precise financial details when completing their sales.
This came in the form of a club statement, confirming the cost of the transfer to Besiktas is €3.5m payable in three financial years, in addition to variable bonuses up to a maximum of €1m.
The sale generates a positive economic impact on the current financial year of €1.4m, net of auxiliary expenses.
