Juventus are open to selling Dusan Vlahovic next summer and have reportedly identified Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface as their top replacement.

The Bianconeri are working to move in a more sustainable direction and have been trying to negotiate a new deal with Vlahovic in recent weeks. The striker’s salary will rise to €12m net per season in July and the club want to spread this out over a longer contract.

Talks with Vlahovic’s entourage have moved slowly, and he may not be willing to accept a lower salary in a new long-term contract, so a sale next summer is starting to look a realistic possibility for the Old Lady.

Page 25 of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport details how Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli is a fan of Boniface and believes the striker could be a strong addition to Massimiliano Allegri’s squad.

The 22-year-old has scored 14 goals and provided seven assists in 21 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen this season. His impressive start this season has seen his market value shoot up to around €40m.

Due to his high price, Juventus would only be able to make a move for Boniface should they manage to sell Vlahovic next summer.
