Juventus have confirmed the signing of Emil Holm on loan with an option to buy from Bologna, and Joao Mario’s temporary transfer to the Stadio Dall’Ara.
Serie A giants Juventus have confirmed a double deal with Bologna.
Rossoblu right-back Holm has moved to Turin on loan with an option to buy, while Joao Mario has travelled in the opposite direction on a temporary deal until the end of the season.
Juventus confirmed both deals with separate official statements on Monday.
“Joao Mario will play the second half of the 2025/26 Serie A season away from the Juventus Men’s First Team,” the Bianconeri said.
“The Portuguese winger will stay in Italy, though, as he will be joining Bologna on a loan deal until 30 June, 2026.
“Having arrived at Juventus last summer, the 26-year-old has taken to the pitch in our jersey thirteen times, between Serie A and the Champions League. It was during his European debut with Juventus – in the match against Borussia Dortmund – that he registered his first assist.
“Good luck on this new adventure, Joao!”
The Portuguese right-back only played 373 minutes in the first part of the season with Juventus, providing one assist.
Juventus also confirmed Holm’s initial loan move, saying that they hold an option to buy for €15m payable over three financial years, along with up to €3m of bonuses over the duration of his contract.
Holm, 25, was a semi-regular starter at Bologna, where he scored one goal and provided five assists in 19 appearances across all competitions in 2025-26.
The Old Lady has also confirmed Daniele Rugani’s transfer to Fiorentina on loan with an option to buy.
