Diario AS reports that Vlahović turned down a move to Villarreal last summer, hoping to join a bigger club in 2026.
Recently, La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Manchester United are competing with Atletico Madrid and Barcelona to sign Vlahović, whose Juventus contract runs out next summer.
In July, TEAMtalk reported that Juventus are willing to sell Vlahović for as little as €15 million—half of their original €30 million asking price—as they look to avoid losing him for free next year and clear his high wages off the books.
Nonetheless, now it seems that the Turin-based club will be losing him for nothing unless he decides to leave during the January window.
