Here is how Tottenham could line up against Leeds United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham Hotspur’s fight for Premier League survival continues on Monday evening when they host Leeds United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Spurs know that their destiny is in their own hands in the race for Premier League survival after their stunning victory over Aston Villa, coupled with West Ham’s listless defeat to Brentford last weekend. Following their victory at Villa Park, Roberto De Zerbi’s men leapfrogged West Ham into 17th in the table.

Tottenham are now one point clear of the relegation zone with three games to go, although by the time they face Leeds United, they could be dragged back into the bottom three, with West Ham facing table-toppers Arsenal on Sunday. Leeds United are a team in form and will be keen to spoil the home side’s survival bid. They will be heading to N17 to secure their top-flight safety.

That said, here is the predicted Tottenham lineup for their upcoming clash against Leeds United.

Goalkeeper: Antonin Kinsky

De Zerbi has confirmed Guglielmo Vicario is not yet fit to feature, meaning Antonin Kinsky will continue in the Tottenham goal. The 23-year-old has been solid across four games, and he will be raring to keep a clean sheet at home when Leeds pay a visit to Tottenham.

Defence: Pedro Porro, Kevin Danso, Micky van de Ven, Destiny Udogie

Destiny Udogie overcame a minor muscle injury to start against Villa last time out. He is expected to keep his place in the XI. Pedro Porro, Kevin Danso and Micky van de Ven will retain their spots as well, with De Zerbi relying on a settled back four to stop the Whites.

Danso and Van de Ven have formed a strong partnership in central defence, and the duo will be tasked with keeping Dominic Calvert-Lewin at bay.

Midfield: Rodrigo Bentancur, Joao Palhinha, Conor Gallagher

Rodrigo Bentancur, Joao Palhinha and Conor Gallagher dominated Villa in the middle of the park. The trio have repaid the gaffer’s faith in back-to-back Tottenham wins, bringing their experience, work rate, tenacity and physicality on the floor.

With Bentancur and Palhinha holding the fort, Gallagher has flourished in the No.10 role. The England international scored his first goal in a Spurs shirt in the win at Villa, whilst impressing with his work ethic, pressing, tackling and running power. De Zerbi will want the midfield trio to continue their good work.

Pape Matar Sarr, Yves Bissouma, Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall could come off the bench after the break to add more solidity and legs in the engine room.

Attack: Mathys Tel, Richarlison, Randal Kolo Muani

Richarlison, Mathys Tel and Randal Kolo Muani constantly caused problems to the Villa defenders with their closing down, directness and physicality. The front three were in sync and made it difficult for the hosts to play out from the back.

In Dominic Solanke’s injury absence, Richarlison made a case for himself by netting a brilliant header off Tel’s pinpoint delivery. The Brazilian is a certainty to lead the Tottenham attack, flanked by the French duo.
