Milan star Tijjani Reijnders will undergo medical tests with Manchester City and complete a move to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
The date was revealed by the Netherlands’ coach Koeman on Friday, as quoted by vi.nl.
The Dutch side will visit Finland in a World Cup qualifying match on Saturday night in Helsinki, and Reijnders will fly to England the following morning to finalise a €75m transfer to Manchester City.
“That’s a great step for him. They called me a few months ago. I’ve mentioned more [Netherland players], but it seems to be limited to one,” Koeman said.
Reijnders was Milan’s second-best scorer in 2024-25 with 15 goals in 54 appearances across all competitions, to which he added five assists.
Reijnders had signed a contract extension with Milan only a few months ago. Sources tell Football Italia that the Dutchman will earn €8m per season at the Etihad Stadium.
He had joined Milan from AZ Alkmaar in 2023 for just €20.5m.
