Khvicha Kvaratskhelia revealed that he still watches Napoli games with some of his PSG teammates and expects them to clinch the title on Friday, when they face Cagliari on the final matchday of the Serie A season.

The Georgian star was a key figure in Luciano Spalletti’s legendary side that brought the Scudetto back to Naples in 2023 after a 33-year wait, and Antonio Conte believed he could play an equally vital role this season.

However, the 24-year-old began to show signs of discontent as early as last summer and made his desire to leave the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona clear when PSG renewed their interest during the winter transfer window—eventually convincing the club to leave the door open for a move.

Kvaratskhelia: ‘Napoli’s Scudetto will be a celebration for the people of Naples’

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia during PSG’s media day ahead of the Champions League final against Inter, Kvaratskhelia was asked whether he’s still keeping an eye on his former club’s tightly contested title race.

“Yes, we watched them with Donnarumma [and Fabian Ruiz] too,” the forward said.

“I love Napoli, I think they’ll win the Scudetto and it will be a celebration for the people of Naples—they deserve it.”
