Kylian Mbappé Take Sees Real Madrid Star in ‘So Much Trouble’ at PSG

On the latest Ensemble PSG Podcast , Robin Bairner,  the chief editor at Football Transfers, weighed in on how PSG’s success this season could have a long-lasting effect on the club’s all-time leading scorer after a messy departure to Real Madrid last summer.

“[Ousmane Dembélé] had never been allowed to become a team leader,” Bairner said. “Obviously, he’s become this figure now that is indispensable to PSG. It just doesn’t reflect particularly well on Mbappé. I wouldn’t say it necessarily wipes out his legacy, but it certainly is going to leave it questioned in 5, 10, 15 years… he’s in so much trouble now in terms of his PSG legacy. He’s in a lot of trouble.”
