LA Galaxy hosts Charlotte FC at the Dignity Health Sports Park for the MLS Week 2 matchup on Saturday, February 28.

Los Galacticos will get on the field on Saturday night looking for the first win of this season. They kicked off the 2026 MLS season with a frustrating 1-1 draw against New York City FC last week. Galaxy forward Joao Klauss gave his team an early 1-0 lead in the fifth minute of the game, and Greg Vanney’s men protected that advantage until the 66th minute, when NYCFC’s Nicolás Fernández converted from the penalty spot to level the match.

Charlotte, meanwhile, will also get in today's game to register the first win of the club's 2026 MLS campaign. The Crown started the 2026 MLS Season with a draw against Saint Louis City last week. Both teams were deadlocked through the first half of the game. However, Saint Louis edged ahead after the break when Marcel Hartel scored in the 60th minute. Charlotte bounced back, with Pep Biel scoring an equalizer in the 73rd, and the game ended 1-1.
