Lautaro Martinez is now fifth on Inter’s list of all-time Serie A top scorers after his opener in Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Cagliari, and could move into fourth place later on in the 2025-26 campaign.
Lautaro and Francesco Pio Esposito were both on the scoresheet for the Nerazzurri, who picked up their third consecutive victory across all competitions with a 2-0 win over Cagliari in Serie A on Saturday evening.
Lautaro is now up to 117 Serie A goals for Inter after last night’s match, which means that he has now overtaken Sandro Mazzola to move into fifth place in the club’s all-time list of Serie A top scorers.
El Toro has achieved this feat in 242 league matches, which means that he is currently averaging 0.48 goals per game.
The next target for Lautaro to chase down is Alessandro Albotelli, who currently sits in fourth place in Inter’s all-time Serie A top scorers list with 128 from 316 outings. Lautaro needs 11 more goals to match that tally.
In third place is Istvan Nyres with 133 goals, Benito Lorenzi is in second with 138 goals and Giuseppe Meazza sits alone at the top of the list with 197 Serie A goals.
