Nuno Tavares could leave Lazio in the summer transfer window, and Maurizio Sarri has already identified three replacements: Aaron Martin, Ben Chilwell and Emerson Palmieri.
Lazio coach Sarri is considering his options to potentially replace Nuno Tavares, who has recently moved to the Stadio Olimpico on a permanent deal from Arsenal, but could leave for an adequate offer this summer.
Alfredo Pedullà exclusively reports for The Laziali that the Gunners hold a 40% future sale clause.
Luca Pellegrini’s future at the Stadio Olimpico is also uncertain.
According to Pedullà, Lazio and Sarri have already identified three potential replacements: Genoa’s Aaron Martin, West Ham’s Emerson Palmieri and Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell, who will return to Stamford Bridge after a six-month spell at Crystal Palace.
Martin’s contract with Genoa expires in 2026, and even if the Grifone are in talks for a new deal, some Saudi clubs are monitoring the Spanish left-back.
Emerson Palmieri, an Euro 2020 winner with the Italy national team, has already worked with Sarri at Chelsea. His West Ham contract expires in 2026, and the Hammers hold an option to extend it to 2027.
Lastly, Sarri is a long-time admirer of Chilwell, a player the Italian tactician had already wanted to sign for Chelsea in 2018-19.
