Lazio have drawn up a new offer for Juventus left back Luca Pellegrini following a recent round of talks.
The 24-year-old Italian joined the Biancocelesti on a six-month loan deal with a €15 million buy option attached back in the January transfer window, adding some more depth to Maurizio Sarri’s squad.
Pellegrini failed to make a notable splash during his half-season with Lazio, only seeing 174 minutes of action across seven Serie A appearances. Despite this, the club are keen to retain him for another season.
As reported by Alfredo Pedulla (via LazioNews24), Lazio have prepared a new offer for Pellegrini, a loan deal with an €8 million conditional obligation to buy clause attached, linked to qualifying for a European competition.
Juventus are reportedly targeting Empoli left back Fabiano Parisi, so agreeing a deal with the Biancocelesti has two bonuses – it takes away one competitor for Parisi and frees up a little space in their squad.
