Lazio are determined to keep their best players this summer and that includes Taty Castellanos, who would only be allowed to leave for €30m.

The Aquile are facing a reset after their surprising failure to qualify for any UEFA tournament.

That prompted the exit of coach Marco Baroni, who has already signed for Torino, and the return of Maurizio Sarri.

President Claudio Lotito pledged to strengthen the squad and that means resisting proposals for the likes of Mario Gila and Nicolò Rovella.

Lazio want cash for Castellanos

Castellanos is not entirely untouchable, but he is valued very highly, and his departure would only be taken into consideration if an offer arrived that was worth at least €30m.

The 26-year-old striker was signed from NYCFC in 2023 for €15m plus bonuses and he contributed 14 goals with eight assists in 40 competitive games this season.

The Argentina international has two senior caps and is of interest to clubs in the Premier League and Saudi Pro League, but so far any negotiations have been at very initial stages.
