Lazio president Claudio Lotito is trying to resolve the Luis Alberto situation ahead of the January transfer window.

The 30-year-old Spaniard’s representative Miguel Alfaro told Corriere dello Sport earlier this month that his client was uncomfortable with the present situation in the Italian capital and suggested that a move away could be on the horizon.

Luis Alberto has only started five Serie A games this season and has mostly been used as a substitute by Maurizio Sarri.

As reported by La Repubblica (via LazioNews24), Lazio president Lotito does not want to lose Luis Alberto in January and so is trying to resolve things in the Italian capital.

Multiple Spanish clubs are interested in picking up the 30-year-old, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2025 and has a market value of around €25-30m.

The increasing transfer market noise surrounding star midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic mean Lazio don’t want to risk losing two key creators in the coming months.
