Leagues Cup: Sounders thrash Pumas UNAM 4-0

Jordan Morris scored two goals and Albert Rusnak produced a goal and two assists as the host Seattle Sounders downed Pumas UNAM 4-0 on Monday to advance to the quarterfinals of the Leagues Cup.

Seattle will play the winner of a Tuesday match between Los Angeles FC and the San Jose Earthquakes.

After goals by Paul Rothrock (32nd minute) and Morris (58th), Rusnak converted a penalty in the 71st. Morris added a penalty-kick goal in the fifth minute of second-half stoppage time after a brawl almost broke out when he was tackled from behind.

Pumas' Lisandro Magallan received a yellow card for the foul.

Seattle goalkeeper Andrew Thomas made five saves.
