Former Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti is reportedly out of intensive care and will leave the hospital soon.  

According to FCInterNews, the 80-year-old is recovering from pneumonia, and his health is improving.

Doctors admitted Massimo Moratti to the hospital at the start of September.

Indeed, his precarious health condition, aggravated by pneumonia, forced doctors to put him in an induced coma.

However, the Humanitas Institute’s medical staff woke him up last week after his condition improved.

Moratti was under constant observation over the past couple of weeks.

Luckily, after proving able to breathe on his own, the former Nerazzurri president could soon return home.

Though he has weathered the storm, Moratti still needs careful monitoring and rest to ensure a full recovery.

However, the worst is now behind him.

Moratti is one of the most iconic figures in Inter history.

Indeed, he was Inter Milan president between 1995 and 2004, and then again between 2006 and 2013.
