Leicester City host Wigan Athletic at the King Power Stadium in today’s League One clash as the home side looks to recover from a 2-1 defeat against Luton Town.

Russell Martin’s side recently put together consecutive wins over Bromley and Doncaster before falling to Luton.

Leicester currently sit 13th in the table with 15 points after suffering back-to-back relegation and are dealing with defensive issues that have been a big hindrance despite their strong attack.

On the other hand, Wigan Athletic find themselves in a far more worrying position, sitting in 24th place with just seven points.

Gary Caldwell’s side has lost four of their last five matches, and have earned only one point from a possible 18 on the road.

Leicester City vs. Wigan Athletic Team News & Lineups

The Foxes will be without midfielder John Lundstram, who is suspended following a red card against Luton. Martin is expected to rotate owing to a congested schedule, though top scorer Emil Riis is set to lead the attack alongside Sammy Braybrooke and Luke Thomas.

Wigan face an even tougher challenge as they are without Fraser Murray who serves a suspension, while Luke Harris and Max Power are completely ruled out with injuries.

The main positive for the visitors is the resurgence of striker Christian Saydee, who has scored in consecutive matches since returning to the squad.

Leicester City predicted lineup:

McCarthy; O’Hora, Souttar, Okoli; Alves, Page, Smallbone, Thomas; Braybrooke, Cullen; Riis

Wigan Athletic predicted lineup:

Whitworth; Fox, Carragher, Burns; Barrett, Weir, Walsh, Burrowes, A. Harris; Saydee, Hogan
