All eyes are on Tottenham as they look to strengthen their squad to kickstart a new era under Thomas Frank. The Lilywhites cannot afford to make any mistakes in the transfer market, as any wrong move might end up costing the Danish tactician his job at N17. The fans are also hoping that the Europa League success will force Daniel Levy to invest heavily into the squad for next season.

There are a lot of problems to address for Levy as the club looks to close the gap on its rivals next season. The attacking line has struggled to perform consistently and that was one of the major reasons why Ange Postecoglou faced the sack at N17 earlier this month.

The England international endured a ‘stop-start’ campaign, and bringing in a new striker in the summer might just be what the 27-year-old needs to keep him on his toes and elevate his game to the next level.

Tottenham are looking to strengthen the number nine position just a year after the North London club brought in Dominic Solanke on a record deal. With the England international not performing consistently and Racharlison failing to step up and provide cover, Daniel Levy has decided to bring in a new striker that could elevate the quality of the attack next season.

It was reported earlier that Spurs were interested in signing Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus in the summer. The Lilywhites view the 25-year-old as the ideal signing that would provide cover for Solanke next season. The aforementioned report had also suggested that the Serie A giants were looking to sell the prolific striker for a fee of around £20m.

Earlier reports also suggested that AC Milan were also considering a move to land Vlahovic in the summer. Now, Tottenham have received a setback in their efforts to bring the 25-year-old to N17 for next season. As per Tuttosport, Dusan Vlahovic is keen to join the Milan-based club and has decided to snub the Lilywhites. However, the only problem for the Serie A giants is the prolific striker salary demands, which can get sorted out if both parties come in agreement over the other details.

Now, Daniel Levy must shift his focus on other signings as Spurs look to bring in attacking reinforcements in the summer. The North London club are also said to be long-term admirers of OGC Nice striker Evann Guessand and view the prolific striker as a perfect backup option for Dominic Solanke. The fans will hope that an agreement will be reached to sign the Cote D’Ivoire international in the coming weeks so that the club can focus on other targets before pre-season starts.
