Former Manchester City winger Leroy Sane is reportedly wanted by two Premier League clubs.

Sane is in his fourth season with Bayern Munich after moving to Bavaria in July 2020 following four years with City.

In 90 Premier League games for City, Sane scored 25 goals and provided 28 assists.

Since joining Bayern, he has recorded 29 goals and 29 assists in 107 Bundesliga games.

Sane's current contract is due to expire in June 2025.

According to Bild, Bayern bosses intend to open talks about extending that contract once Sane returns from the current international break.

But Bild are also reporting that both City and Liverpool are keen to bring Sane back to the EPL.

Bayern paid City £54.8 million to buy Sane in 2020, as stated by Sky Sports.

The 27-year-old would likely command a similarly-sized transfer fee if he was to return to England next summer.

Sane can play confidently as a winger on either side of the field. Such versatility would be very advantageous were he to return to the Etihad Stadium, where City manager Pep Guardiola is famed for his squad rotation.

At Liverpool, Sane would likely get most of his game time on the left flank, unless his arrival at Anfield coincided with Mo Salah leaving.
