Liverpool Confirms Transfer Fee As Klopp Eyes Harvey Elliott Reunion

Liverpool looks to prepare for departures this summer after confirming signings like Milos Kerkez, Florian Wirtz, and Jeremie Frimpong . The current Premier League champions are reportedly planning to sell players to bring in more signings, and one of them is Harvey Elliott .

Elliott has hinted at a departure from Liverpool to get more minutes on the pitch, and new reports suggest he could have a reunion with his former manager, Jurgen Klopp .

Klopp is no longer a soccer manager as he is the Red Bull's Head of Global Soccer. TalkSport reports that RB Leipzig is interested in signing Elliott this summer. With Klopp's new role as global sports director for Red Bull, his influence in bringing Elliott to Leipzig may make the transfer possible.

Liverpool were reportedly evaluating their price tag for Elliott, and RB Leipzig have now learned the transfer fee they need to pay to bring the English midfielder to Germany this summer.

Liverpool's price tag for Harvey Elliott

According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool is reportedly asking for around $55 million to consider selling Elliott this summer. Many believe the price tag has increased due to his impressive performances for England's U-21 team at the U-21 UEFA Euros.

Elliott scored four goals in five games of the U-21 Euros with England's U-21 team. The Liverpool midfielder scored a brace in the UEFA Euro U-21 semifinal against the Netherlands.

He guided the U-21 England team to a 2-1 victory over the Netherlands to reach the final, where they will play against U-21 Germany.

Another big performance from Elliott could increase the price tag Liverpool has set for RB Leipzig and other teams interested.

Other Teams Interested in Harvey Elliott

Harvey Elliott is also causing interest from Premier League clubs. Two Premier League clubs reportedly interested in Elliott for next season are West Ham United and Brighton.

Both Premier League clubs may fall short in the race for Elliott due to Liverpool's potential preference to avoid selling to a league rival.

With Klopp's influence on Elliott at Liverpool, RB Leipzig seems the likely destination for the young English midfielder. Elliott's departure, along with others like Jarell Quansah, will lead to Liverpool continuing to bring in new signings for next season.
