Liverpool defender Joe Gomez: Ex-players miss Anfield

Liverpool defender Joe Gomez says the final verdicts of those leaving the club means a great deal.

The centre half, who will be there next season, spoke about players who are Liverpool in the offseason.

The likes of Joel Matip and Thiago Alcantara are calling time on their careers to pursue regular football.

Gomez, who is now the longest serving member of the squad, told The Anfield Wrap: Being here this many years it's only grown over time making me realize how special it is here.
