Liverpool make enquiry to sign Sandro Tonali

The report claims that Newcastle are demanding in excess of €100 million for the midfielder, with several Premier League clubs continuing to monitor his situation.

Tottenham Hotspur have emerged as one of the strongest contenders for the 26-year-old’s signature, with recent reports suggesting they are currently leading the race.

Newcastle, though, are reluctant to lose one of their most influential players.

The Magpies have already rejected two bids from Tottenham for Tonali this summer and remain determined to keep hold of the former AC Milan star.

Tonali has established himself as one of the Premier League’s standout midfielders since arriving in England in 2023.

His technical quality, defensive intelligence and leadership qualities have made him a highly sought-after player across Europe.

The report also adds that Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United all retain an interest, although Tottenham are currently viewed as the favourites.

Newcastle are understood to value Tonali at around €100 million.

However, the report suggests that figure could rise further if multiple clubs formally enter negotiations.
