Liverpool have a busy transfer window ahead of them and business is already being done, although they could be about to lose a player who Jurgen Klopp was very fond of.
Liverpool have enjoyed an excellent first season under the management of Arne Slot, with the Dutchman helping the club win their 20th Premier League title.
Despite being at the top, transfer negotiations are already underway as the Reds aim to stay there, with outgoings such as Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid already occurring ahead of a big summer of change.

Sales of big players are not expected to stop there either, with one young star catching the eye of a number of clubs.
According to Florian Plettenberg at Sky Sports Germany, 22-year-old defender Jarell Quansah is drawing interest from several Bundesliga clubs, with Liverpool not ruling out a sale for the Englishman this summer.

The German clubs vying for his signature are unknown, although he has already attracted plenty of interest from teams in the Premier League, with Newcastle United one of these sides.
The 22-year-old only signed a new long-term contract with the Reds less than a year ago, meaning that a rather hefty transfer fee could be demanded if Liverpool were to let him go.
Although Quansah has shown no desire to depart Anfield, the competition he has ahead of him in the pecking order, as well as Liverpool wanting a new centre-back option, means the Englishman may find his future lies elsewhere.
Quansah was handed his debut only last season by Jurgen Klopp and has become a regular in the matchday squad ever since, with his former boss labelling him as a “top talent.”
After scoring in a Europa League game, Klopp said post-match: “He deserves it. He’s a top player, top talent and he will be a really good player.
“I’m really happy for him that he can get these kind of experiences, we need him and tonight was another step for him.”
Quansah has now racked up almost 60 appearances in a Liverpool shirt and is still regarded as a player with huge potential, although limited minutes under Slot may lead to a summer exit.
