Liverpool Sounding Out Transfer Move For Donyell Malen

The Merseyside giants are said to be in the market for a new versatile attacker and a midfield replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum.

Wijnaldum joined Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer after failing to agree to a contract extension with Liverpool FC.

As far as midfielders go, it seems that Liverpool's main target is Atletico Madrid's Saul Niguez.

The Spanish midfielder is a hot commodity with Chelsea, Manchester United, Juventus and FC Barcelona chasing his signature.

For attackers, Liverpool have been linked with plenty of talented players this summer including Dusan Vlahovic, Kylian Mbappe, Domenico Berardi and many others.

However, Liverpool are said to be mulling over a transfer move for PSV forward Donyell Malen.

According to Dutch outlet Eindhovens Dagblad Liverpool are on the fence about moving for the 22 year-old forward.

The report states that Jurgen Klopp's former side Borussia Dortmund are planning a bid in the region of €27-28 million.

PSV, however, may reject this as they want €30 million for their 27-goal star.

Eindhovens Dagblad go on to say that Liverpool can could come in at any time as there is still no agreement between Borussia Dortmund and PSV despite rumours of a bid.

Much like every transfer in the past few years, Liverpool have held their cards close to their chest.

A move for Donyell Malen may very well be in the club's plan.
