Liverpool welcome Leeds United to Anfield on New Year's Day. Arne Slot's men have rolled off three consecutive league victories and will look to keep their momentum going in January.
The Reds currently sit in fourth place in the Premier League table, having won 2-1 at home against Wolves last Saturday. Ryan Gravenberch and Florian Wirtz scored in the first half, though Liverpool continued their bad habit of conceding from set pieces.
Liverpool parted ways with set-piece coach Aaron Briggs on Tuesday after falling to a woeful minus-nine net goals from non-penalty set pieces. The Reds will need to be sharper this time out against Leeds, who are a far better side than bottom-of-the-table Wolverhampton.
Crucially for Liverpool, key midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai will return to the starting XI after serving a one-game suspension.
Leeds enter Thursday with a five-game league unbeaten streak and in 16th place. The West Yorkshire club earned a 1-1 draw against Sunderland thanks to a strike by Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Calvert-Lewin has netted eight goals in 16 league matches this season. Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk will look to keep the 28-year-old striker quiet.
Thursday's match will kick off at 5.30 p.m. GMT in the United Kingdom and at 12:30 p.m. ET and 9:30 a.m. PT in the United States.
It will be broadcast both in the United States and internationally on the following networks and streaming services:
