London rivals want £165k-a-week star after Tottenham make decision on his future

Timo Werner is all set to leave Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the season, and clubs like Fulham and West Ham United are keen on securing his signature.

According to talkSPORT, Tottenham have made a decision on his future, and they will not make his loan move permanent in the summer. They have an option to sign the German International permanently for a fee of around £8.5 million.

Tottenham need an upgrade on Timo Werner

Werner’s performances have been quite underwhelming, and he has failed to convince the manager to give him a sustained run on the side. The player has one goal and three assists to his name, and it would be ideal for Tottenham to move him on. He is on massive wages of £165,000 as well.

Tottenham need attacking reinforcements, and they should be looking to bring in better players.

Fulham or West Ham move could be ideal

Meanwhile, Werner will look to get his career back on track, and staying in London could be an interesting opportunity for him. Fulham and West Ham might be able to provide him with more opportunities next season. Both clubs need to add more depth through the attacking unit, and the 29-year-old German is a dynamic attacker who is capable of operating anywhere across the front three.

If he manages to regain his form and sharpness, he will add goals and creativity to the side. Furthermore, he could be available for a reasonable amount of money.

The player does not have a future at RB Leipzig, and the German club does not wish to bring him back. They will look to sell him permanently in the summer, and it remains to be seen how the situation unfolds.

The 29-year-old will be desperate to get back to his best, and the two London clubs could present an exciting opportunity for him.
