AC Milan youngster Kevin Zeroli is set to renew his contract with the club until 2028, with just the official signatures now missing from the deal.

According to Calciomercato.com’s Daniele Longo on X, the young midfielder is going to be extending his spell with the club beyond the current season.

The negotiations only began in the early days of March but clearly all parties were on the same page as the deal is now very close to being announced.

The 19-year-old midfielder has found himself getting involved with the first team this season and he actually made his debut for the seniors on December 30 against Sassuolo in Serie A, coming on for the final 16 minutes. He also came on in stoppage time against AS Roma in the following match.

He has been on the bench in Serie A seven times this season so his experience of being in the first-team environment has grown a lot.

His best performances have come in the UEFA Youth League under the guidance of Ignazio Abate, as he has netted four goals in seven matches there and has been crucial to the Rossoneri reaching the semi-finals.

It is not yet clear whether this new deal will result in him being loaned out for the 2024/25 season.
