Luis Henrique Approval Still Eludes Roma in Inter Talks

Roma have identified Inter wing-back Luis Henrique as a priority transfer target, though the Brazilian is yet to give his approval for a move to the Giallorossi as talks over his valuation remain unresolved.

According to SiamoLaRoma, Fabrizio Romano reported that negotiations between Roma and the player are currently stalled. Relations between the two clubs are described as good, but Roma and the player have yet to reach a financial agreement, while an agreement is still needed on a valuation of around €30 million.

Roma have targeted Luis Henrique to strengthen their flanks. The Brazilian appeals to Gian Piero Gasperini because he can play at full-back on either flank or as an attacking midfielder behind Malen.

The Valuation Gap Holding Up Talks

Reports on the numbers have varied through the day. Il Corriere della Sera noted that the Brazilian, who was proposed by his agency Roc Nation, has not fully convinced Roma’s staff at Trigoria, while Il Messaggero suggested Roma could pursue a loan with an option to buy, similar to the structure used for Rodrigo Mora.

La Gazzetta dello Sport, meanwhile, indicated Roma’s offer sits at €28 million plus bonuses and that Inter have already accepted those terms, leaving the player’s own approval as the outstanding obstacle. Matteo Moretto added that any deal remains far from imminent despite Roma and Inter reportedly agreeing a fee in the region of €30 million including add-ons.

For now, Roma’s pursuit continues without a resolution. Luis Henrique has yet to approve a move to the Giallorossi or Gasperini’s project, while the financial agreement with the player remains unresolved.
