Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Brentford manager Thomas Frank in recent weeks.

The 51-year-old Danish manager is reportedly a top target for the North London club, and they are hoping to bring him in as their new manager. According to Football Insider, Tottenham have been handed a major boost in their pursuit of Frank.

Brentford identify a replacement

Brentford are now worried about losing him this summer, and they have identified Kieran McKenna as a potential replacement. They are preparing a formal offer to bring in the Ipswich Town manager.

It will be interesting to see how the situation develops. Frank has done an outstanding job at Brentford with limited resources, and there is no doubt that he has the qualities to manage a bigger club. He could prove to be the ideal appointment for Tottenham as they look to bounce back strongly.

Tottenham keen on Thomas Frank

We have recently covered reports that Tottenham are already in talks with the Danish manager. Convincing him should not be too difficult for them. Frank has a £9 million release clause in his contract, and Tottenham have the resources to pay up.

Tottenham need to bring in a quality manager this summer, and the 51-year-old certainly fits the profile. He is highly rated around Europe, and he has the quality to succeed at the London club.

The opportunity to manage one of the biggest clubs in the country will be quite exciting for the manager. He will look to test himself at a higher level. He will be able to compete in the Champions League with Tottenham next season.

Meanwhile, McKenna could be tempted to manage a Premier League club as well. Brentford could be an exciting destination for him. It remains to be seen whether the Bees can get the deal done. It will certainly help Tottenham wrap up a move for the 51-year-old.
