USMNT and AC Milan star Christian Pulisic returned to training with the Rossoneri on Wednesday, Feb. 11, and will possibly be part of the squad that faces Pisa on Friday.
Pulisic, 27, missed his team’s last match against Bologna on Tuesday, Feb. 3, due to bursitis. However, according to reports in Italy, the U.S. soccer player is back training normally.
There is still no official confirmation of his potential participation in Friday’s Serie A match, but his presence in the training session suggests he is ready and will be available.
This season, Pulisic has 10 goals and two assists in 20 appearances with AC Milan, counting Serie A, the Coppa Italia, and the Italian Super Cup, establishing himself as a key piece of the team.
His return is an important boost for Massimiliano Allegri, considering the Rossoneri are eight points, with a game in hand, behind league leader Inter in the league standings.
AC Milan and Pulisic still have three matches remaining during the month of February. On Friday, they visit Pisa at 11:45 a.m. PT, 2:45 p.m. ET.
Later, the Rossoneri host Cesc Fabregas’s Como on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 11:45 a.m. PT, 2:45 p.m. ET. The last match of the month is Sunday, Feb. 22, when they host Parma at 9 a.m. PT, noon ET.
The next friendlies for the U.S. men’s soccer national team are also near. On March 28 the Team USA will face Belgium at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
On March 31, they will host Portugal at the same venue. Pulisic is likely to feature in both games.
