Man City hoping for cash windfall from Championship playoff final

Manchester City will be eagerly watching the Championship playoff final on Sunday.

Southampton take on Leeds United at Wembley with one set to come back to the Premier League.

Taylor Harwood-Bellis has been spending the campaign on loan from City at the Saints.

Per The Mail, Southampton are obligated to buy the England Under-21 captain on a permanent basis for 20 million if they win that game.

City would be able to reinvest that money in their own transfer targets ahead of the new season.

However, Leeds winning the game would mean that Harwood-Bellis would come back to the club.
